Something about the structure of these Chloe heels reminds us of a toilet bowl or something bathroom-related. Yet, we would SO wear them. Think denim shorts, messy hair, white flowy shirt, or maybe just white shirtdress. Mmmmmm.....clothes crush daydream annnnd they're on sale!

The Charlie Browniest.

Lucy Van Pelt: Are you afraid of staircases? If you are, then you have climacaphobia. Maybe you have thalassophobia. This is fear of the ocean, or gephyrobia, which is the fear of crossing bridges. Or maybe you have pantophobia. Do you think you have pantophobia?
Charlie Brown: What's pantophobia?
Lucy Van Pelt: The fear of everything.
Charlie Brown: THAT'S IT.

Of all the Charlie Browns in the world, we are the Charlie Browniest.  We eat, sleep, and breathe A Charlie Brown Christmas, this time of year.  We play the soundtrack on repeat and tickle the fake ivories in the air.  So, we spose it's just like fate or something that right now we are in the mood for chocolately slouchy boots.  A brownie sundae dress- yet to be designed- but oh-so floaty and warm.  Oozing with wintery goodness and yum.  A pair of tights.  Maybe even in purple or blue.  Come on y'all, let's shake up the winter blah blah blacks.   Even if we do stay in again, curl up by the fire, and watch Charlie and Lucy hash out life's quandaries in all their philosophical and psychological undertone glory.

All We Want for Christmas

Well, Halloween is over.
(moment of silence)
Thanksgiving is on the way.
(we have begun jogging* in anticipation)
And we think it's about time to to get in the spirit of All Things Christmas.
Penny pinch and save.
Hum carols to ourselves.
Write our Dear Santa letters.
Yet, we think we might be on The Naughty List this year.
(not that we've been mean...just maybe have had a little too much fun slash champagne?)
So we will create our own personal lists this year, in case um, Santa decides to skip our faux-fire Urban Outfitters chimney.

1) American Apparel Hoodie
We crave the women's purple variety (with sleeves! come on you donghole, we are not Juliette Lewis. like, we kinda dig her i-don't-care-kookiness...or is that The Drugs...but her style is like Say What?). Anyway, the purple hood is so gorgeous and bare bones. Kinda like the fella above. Maybe we crave his bones too. See? Naughty List.

Sorry, Santa baby. But yes, we'll have another extra dirty peppermint martini.

Leather Chaqueta, Won't You Be Mine?

jacket love

jacket love

jacket love

Since money isn't everything, let's spend it wisely. On pretty leather jackets. With or without fur.

Because let's be dangerous. A little Johnny Depp. A lot of crazy Emily who slipped Brandon some ecstasy so they could be closer, and then lit the senior float on fire.

Get it, rebels.

Snow angel

It's cold!
We want this.
So we can be a sexy woodchuck snowboard bunny slut.

Brand new pair of roller skates.

This is the kinda stuff that makes us want to:

a) wear eyeglasses (no, we do not need them).
b) wear stretchy gold leggings unapologetically (in a space age-kinky mod-kitschy sex appeal way, of course).
c) wear knee high tube socks and head to the roller rink, looking sextastically 1970's Farrah.

What what what what would you do?*

*Golly, we miss Mark Summers some days.

Putting our clothes crushes and wishes on our bliggity blog is kinda like shopping at Off 5th. Yes, we love to look and think about it but holy Dolce, we still can't afford that shiz. Kinda like Josh Hartnett is the poor man's Heath Ledger (Perez Hilton). Or Gwen the poor man's vintage Madonna. We can only hope and dream, and marry for money, err love. And speaking of champagne wishes and caviar dreams,
We would....wear a mullet wig and eye patch for a week for those gold Chucks.

We would....wear a mullet wig, eye patch, doo-rag, and a Fiddy grill for a week for an Elizabeth & James black leather jacket (SMILE you mini mega media mogul, you).

We would....wear a mullet wig, eye patch, doo-rag, Fiddy grill, unitard, and Hammer pants for a week for a metallic Marc Jacobs bag.

Thought #546 For Your Monday: Girly Inspiration

When you're alone and life is making you lonely (read aloud in head in sing-songy voice to the tune of "Downtown." Trust us dearies, it makes it sooo much more delightful) and you're feeling stuck to the creaky plastic seat in your office cubicle, ponder this:

Gurej, a rockin' new chick-run company. Gurej is the creation of Heather and Margo Harrison, two fabulous sistas from Houston, TX who love traveling the world in search of unique fashions. Their latest venture, Gurej, will feature everything from chic, hard to find staple garments, to unique pieces never before seen.

They're talented. They're smart. They're cute. And they have escaped life in cubicleville. Hellooo creative thinking. Get it dears.

Filthy. Gorgeous.

We can so see ourselves (and you) in these (J.Crew, sale!) sexified 'Laurel' and 'Lia' ruffled blouses. If we are feeling extra zany (yes, usually) we might even pair it with those flash-in-the-dark golden 'Abby' shoes (Banana, sale!). Slip into our fave Chip & Peppers and voila! A visual city cupcake on the street, good to go. We then plug into our tunes and on we go, hop skip and jumpin' to the very niccceeee sound of the one and only Scissor Sisters.

What Color is Your Parachute?

We were sitting around on Sunday talking amongst friends (Well, actually we were mid-Sunday Funday for the Bear's home opener at Hackney's. Yum, Hackneyburgers.), when a very crucial question arose.

What color would you wear, if you were able to only choose ONE for the rest of your days (excluding black or white)?

Naturally we chose gold. Perhaps even in Leia-esque style (after all, she is one of our main inspirations). And to keep the figurative ball rollin' here, what particular outfit would you choose? A classic Chanel tweed (Yeah we don't own one either, but They always act like you're supposed to own one), your old Birkies and fav Patchouli-smellin' dress (it's okay, ya dirty hippie), or maybe your ab fav LBD?

If you were our cousin Stevie, it would most likely be your Batman costume complete with cape and red rubber rain boots (which he most certainly did NOT take off the entire time he was five years old, not even for school). Hey man, fashion is passion.

It's Heeere...

Okay, okay. We know every designer and their mother (well, we don't know that for sure) has been doing an 'affordable' line at a cheap-chic chain store. And we realize we've been duped more often than enamored with the clothes (we're talking to YOU, Libertine for Target, with your creepy pink skulls clashingly paired with an off-shade of the scariest kelly green).

But we just spent entirely too much of our day on Kohl's Website, ahhing and drooling over the divine Simply Vera collection. The stuff is pricy, mind you, esp. for Kohl's. But every piece, designed by the lovely Vera Wang, would also make your wardrobe look a gazillion times more polished, classy and oh so Jackie O. With a dash of hip young Nat Portman.

*Um, this black lovely is a head wrap. Tres funky, Miss Vera.
