don't you think

that life is too short

to deny the fact

and you prefer mom jeans

and you still wear lip

smackers and you still listen

to ani difranco sometimes

and you still have a silly bubble in

your head that says white

horse handsome prince

fairy tale happily ever after?

we do.

oh, and don't you think it's too short not to wear ridiculous shoes, tattoo yourself if ya wanna, and drink one too many mimosas?

we do.

dye your hair green.

wear a nose ring (fake or real).

pretend you're tabloid fodder.

get drunk, marry an otter.

just don't live small.

don't live scared.

join a colony, start a club.

jump into bed with a stranger.

(but make sure no bedbugs).
