This Is About.

It's a digital age, man. So to you we present our virtual talk show of Nonsense: The Silly. The Beautiful. The True. In our own words or those quoted by others. With our own art or that created by others. We will laugh. We will smile. We will entertain you all the while. So grab a drink, come in and let's chat. We'd like to meet you, your mama, and your hot cousin Fred.

Smooth & Jazzy & Happily Ever After.

Two fabulous girls to check out. One is the Vermont based Grace Potter (& The Nocturnals) whom is practically a new age Bonnie Raitt (in a cool way) with a classic 70's vibe. Think indie-smoky-fabulous rocker-chic. We saw her live in Phoenix and were instantly smitten. The lady has style, boys in the band to back her, and sings a sweet, soft melody. She might provoke a 'let me slip into something a little more comfortable' kind of night. Keep the red wine on hand, you naughty pirate.
The next lady is the Alaskan native folkie Kate Earl. Her clear, clean voice rings sharp and true in a Damien Rice/Bright Eyes-tell-it-like-it-is-though-it-might-be-quite-painful-kind-of-way. Haunting, enchanting and quite mesmerizing. It's like being stranded in a magical Alaskan forest of song and fairies and stuff. Or something. Anyway, her sound is real and pure and will keep ya keepin' on in a forest or on your iPod.
