this is kate young. she digs little dogs and converse all-stars. and we dig her. the divine miss young is not only a cool chick but also a formidable lass in the fashion scene, and we heart her boy-meets-girl style and dare-to-wear-anything motto. she's an editor, a stylist and a wunderkind of all things fashion. the likes of natalie portman and michelle williams ring her up to dress them. we want to hate her, but what we really want is to grab a beer with her. because despite all the access and money and fashion world know-how, she admits the simple following statement that every woman struggles through but thinks she is alone in her closet abyss: "i have a hard time getting dressed in the morning."
