This Is About.

It's a digital age, man. So to you we present our virtual talk show of Nonsense: The Silly. The Beautiful. The True. In our own words or those quoted by others. With our own art or that created by others. We will laugh. We will smile. We will entertain you all the while. So grab a drink, come in and let's chat. We'd like to meet you, your mama, and your hot cousin Fred.

Thanks Give it Y'all.

Well, first of all we'd like to say Happy Birthday to Bjork, for she is forty-two. Her eccentricity can't be matched, no one else would ever wear a fuggin' tutu. Thank you Bjork.

Nextly we'd like to thank Oprah for persuading the entire American population. She submits her choices. Every opinion, she voices. Sending unheard authors to the bestseller's list. Thank you Oprah.

Of course we should also thank the big juicy turkey we will soon gorge upon. Turkey, we hope your life was long and brilliant. Your dreams fulfilled and finished. You look marvelous next to the stuffing, and you make an excellent and satiating dish. Thank you Turkey.

Now for our general thanks. For all the things that make us spin spin spin and dizzy dizzy grin. In no particularly lemony snickety order: gem tones this past fall. Marc Jacobs flatware for us all. The always-grand cinnamon dolce latte and coconut macaroon. The Spice Girls Reunion Tour and Lollapalooza with Amy, Daft, and Spoon. Heath Ledger in general and Owen's Wilson's return to health. The reign of Tina Fey on tv and Kansas football feelin' the wealth (Beak 'em Hawks, Muck Fizzou!). For the revival of the cartoon and for For the brain of Wes Anderson and for each and everyone y'all's mom. For the fall of the bubble skirt and the rise of 'Bubbly' by Miss Calliat. For good wine, good friends, good talks, long walks. Sarah Jess's line of Bitten and our hot pink fuzzy mittens. For all things good, true love and sparkly rings. For a year of possibility and change and mostly wonderful things. We are thankful it is true, we will say it til we're blue. We are thankful for us and you, and hope that you can all be too. Being grateful is good for you. It'll make you happier and those around you, too. There are at least one or two good things each and every day! So quick, go count 'em and let out a hip hop hooray!

Happy Thanksgiving y'all. Eat, sleep, football, repeat.
