This Is About.

It's a digital age, man. So to you we present our virtual talk show of Nonsense: The Silly. The Beautiful. The True. In our own words or those quoted by others. With our own art or that created by others. We will laugh. We will smile. We will entertain you all the while. So grab a drink, come in and let's chat. We'd like to meet you, your mama, and your hot cousin Fred.

Q of the D

*
"You are 27 or 28, right? It is very tough to live at that age. When nothing is sure. I have sympathy with you."
*
This haunts us. And comforts us. It's welcoming to be understood, but uninteresting to be so transparent that a writer can peg us in one swish of his pen.
*
We need a hot dog, stat. Hot Doug's, anyone?

Think your suggesting that certainty is an elusive, fleeting idea that can be achieved with age, experience or growth. Now I am certainly not old, wise or that experienced but I would contend that peace of mind is solely a product of self-awareness; and not that of the former. I would contend that self awareness grants you the strength to be confident and hold firm in the belief that the direction that you are taking your life is, in fact, positive, productive and constructive. Peg yourself; if you do not peg yourself you will again and again allow another person no wiser or no smarter than you make you suffer transparency.
